Job summary

Kempsville Building is seeking a Construction Project Manager for NE Ohio’s commercial Multi-Family installed projects. You will liaise between office and field, manage schedules, value controls, and change orders to deliver on-time, on-budget installations.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, coordinating with the Field Superintendent, and ensuring safety and contract compliance. The role emphasizes communication and data-driven decision-making for successful project execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Commercial Multi-Family construction project management.
• Solid understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and project schedule to inform execution.
• Create a schedule of values between Carter Lumber and customer.
• Track take-offs to ensure correct quantities and timely orders.
• Submit pay applications and manage pay requests with subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Field Superintendent and customers to ensure project progress and budgeting.
• Attend jobsite meetings with customers and other trades as needed.
