CONAM Management Corporation in La Mesa, CA is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of our conventional apartment community Elan Avante ll - Elan Mesa Lofts. You will lead on-site staff, manage leasing, and ensure resident satisfaction while maintaining financial performance.

The position requires 2-3 years of property management experience, strong leadership, budgeting and rent-collection skills, and proficiency with Yardi and MRI.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of property management experience in luxury/conventional apartment communities.
• Hands-on experience overseeing daily operations of a multi-family community with strong leadership.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and rent collections for apartment communities.
• Proficiency with property management software, specifically Yardi and MRI.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in operations management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a conventional multi-family apartment community, ensuring safety, maintenance, and a welcoming environment for residents.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise on-site staff, providing guidance on customer service, leasing, and resident relations.
• Manage the leasing process: market available units, conduct tours, process applications, and execute leases.
• Ensure financial performance by creating and maintaining budgets, preparing monthly financial reports, and monitoring expenditures.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior inspections to ensure upkeep and regulatory compliance.
• Administer resident programs and services to foster a strong community and high satisfaction.
• Oversee renovations and updates, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Ensure compliance with housing regulations and company policies.
• Handle resident concerns and complaints professionally, resolving issues quickly and fairly.
• Prepare and submit annual operating budgets and conduct quarterly budget reviews.
• Maintain records for all resident transactions: move-ins, move-outs, rent collections, renewals.
• Foster a collaborative environment, coordinating with corporate leadership to achieve community goals.
