Job summary

CONAM Management seeks a Community Manager for Regency Centre Apartments in San Diego, CA. You will oversee daily operations, leasing, resident relations, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to deliver high resident satisfaction in a conventional property.

The role requires 2–3 years in affordable property management, HUD/LIHTC experience, and strong leadership with financial reporting skills. On‑site duties include staff supervision and renovations oversight; drivers license required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in property management, supervising affordable communities.
• Experience with HUD, LIHTC, PSH, Section 8, Senior, Rural Development required.
• Strong leadership, financial reporting, budgeting, and rent collections.
• Proficient with Yardi and/or MRI for managing apartment records and financials.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, customer service focused.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a conventional multi‑family community and ensure safety, maintenance, and resident satisfaction.
• Lead on‑site staff, provide guidance on leasing, customer service, and resident relations.
• Manage leasing process, marketing, tours, applications, and lease execution.
• Create and maintain budgets, prepare monthly financial reports, monitor expenditures.
• Conduct regular interior/exterior inspections to ensure property standards.
• Administer resident programs to foster a strong community and high satisfaction.
• Oversee renovations and ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with housing regulations and company standards.
• Handle resident concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and conduct quarterly budget reviews.
