Job summary

The Ahlers Group, including Ahlers & Ogletree Auction Gallery, Peachtree Battle Estate Sales & Liquidations, and related entities, seeks a meticulous Full Charge Bookkeeper to ensure accurate, compliant financial records across multiple companies.

You will manage full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, payroll, sales tax reporting, monthly close, and reporting, using QuickBooks Enterprise, while coordinating with our external Accounting Firm. Immediate start, with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 5 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Google Workspace.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and payroll.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines across several entities.
• Excellent accuracy, discretion, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Process vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and company payments.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Manage payroll processing for contractors and employees.
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports for all entities.
• Coordinate with external Accounting Firm for reconciliations.
• Assist audits and internal financial reviews.
• Support HR financial functions and ad hoc accounting tasks.
