Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the financial operations of a growing resort environment, homeowner associations, and related entities. You will join a collaborative team to ensure timely, meaningful financial information and help optimize processes across multiple entities.

The role involves year-end close activities, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with exposure to leadership and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation or CPA candidacy strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, allocations, intercompany transactions, and audit support.
• Experience in HOA, property management, hospitality, resort operations, or real estate accounting preferred.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling).
• Strong GAAP understanding and general ledger accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for multiple homeowner associations and business entities.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, allocations, financial schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements and reports for leadership, boards, auditors, and tax professionals.
• Maintain accurate general ledger activity and proper transaction coding across entities, departments, properties, and associations.
• Assist with cash receipts, disbursements, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, billing, and cash flow reporting.
• Support intercompany transactions, shared expense allocations, reserve fund reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Contribute ideas to improve accounting workflows, documentation, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with EVP, Finance Manager, and team for accurate reporting and smooth operations.
