Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Cross-Functional Representative to provide exceptional customer service and support across multiple departments including packaging, stocking, rotation, production, and sanitation. You will handle customer questions, assist with product selection, and perform various duties across bakery, floral, market, and more.

The role requires 18+ age, 6+ months store experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• 18+ age requirement
• 6+ months of experience in H-E-B Store operations
• Knowledge of computer systems (Symbol, ACR, label machine)
• Customer service and interpersonal skills
• Verbal / written communication and reading skills
• Ability to adapt to a wide range of duties across multiple departments
• Ability to work autonomously
• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with product questions
• Use suggestive selling to meet departmental sales goals
• Make regular product announcements to inform customers
• Work a flexible schedule across departments
• Perform stocking, rotation, packaging, and sanitation duties across multiple departments
• Build and maintain displays and manage inventory
• Assist with inventory control and product loading/unloading
• Follow SOPs and store policies across departments
• Support the cross-functional team as a Checker when not in Cross Functional duties
