Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer systems (Symbol, ACR, label machine).
• Customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Verbal / written communication and reading skills.
• Ability to adapt to performing a wide range of duties across multiple departments.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Education: HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service; answer questions; take orders; assist with product selection.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales.
• Work across multiple departments including bakery, floral, market, etc.
• Stock, replenish, rotate, and manage inventory; maintain displays and fixtures.
• Assist with inventory control; load, unload, and move product.
• Clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment.
• Follow SOPs and applicable laws.
