Job summary

Allied Reliability is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Toledo, Ohio plant. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshoot conveyors, robotics, and machinery while following strict safety protocols and LOTO policies.

Responsibilities include diagnosing problems, reading schematics, operating various machine tools, and conducting preventive maintenance to maximize production uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical and electrical repair knowledge.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Emphasis on safe work practices, adherence to LOTO procedures and use of PPE.
• Troubleshooting and repairing machinery, conveyors, and robotics.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Knowledge of 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits.
• Experience with conveyors, electronics, PLC hardware and ladder logic.
• Understand motor control circuitry (VFDs, soft starts).
• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and power saws as needed.
• Read schematics and blueprints.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment functionality.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

May be required to work overtime and weekends ad needed, and come in early or stay late depending on production demands.

Training: Training will take place on 1st shift for a minimum of 2 weeks or more.

Our Toledo, Ohio fully integrated plant manufactures batteries used in automotive and marine applications. This is our largest plant at Clarios. We opened our facility in 1981 and now employ more than 610 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Cherry Street Mission and Ronald McDonald House.

What you will be doing!

• Emphasis on safe work practices, adherence to LOTO procedures and use of PPE.

• Adhere to, implement, follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

What we are looking for!

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical and electrical repair knowledge.
• Working experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (480v), and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred but is not a requirement.
