Job summary

Clarios in Toledo, OH is hiring Production Team Members to operate and maintain automotive battery production lines. You will begin in a Labor Pool with training and advancement opportunities, progressing to a permanent bid based on seniority and performance.

Roles include 2nd and 3rd shifts with shift differentials, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits program. Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred, along with the ability to work 8- or 12-hour shifts and uphold

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Comfortable working 8- or 12-hour shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and twist for extended periods.
• Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills.
• Must be able to wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries.
• Make minor adjustments, diagnose equipment issues, and perform operator-level preventive maintenance.
• Conduct visual inspections and required quality checks.
• Keep accurate records of production and defects.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety protocols.

Shifts Available

• 2nd: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Shift Differential

• 8-hour shifts: 2nd shift +$1.00/hr; 3rd shift +$1.25/hr
• 12-hour shifts: Day shift +$1.00/hr; Night shift +$1.50/hr

Job Responsibilities

• All production team members are hired into the Labor Pool classification where you will be trained in a role suited to your skills. Upon completion of training, you will be eligible to secure your permanent bid job by seniority. Common job responsibilities include:

The Toledo, Ohio facility has been in operation since 1981 and is the largest Clarios manufacturing plant, employing more than 700 team members.
