Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Cross-trained in multiple trades (millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, etc.).
• Experience with pipe layout, assembly, and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications using appropriate tools.
• Assemble and secure pipes and fittings by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading.
• Attach pipes to walls and fixtures using brackets and clamps.
• Inspect and test installed systems with a pressure gauge and hydrostatic tests.
• Plan pipe system layout and installation according to specifications.
• Demonstrate additional cross-trade skills to meet customer needs.
