Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Craft Field Welder for our Operations team in Morristown, TN. The role requires planning, layout, welding, installation and repair of metal components to blueprints, specifications and codes.

You will work across millwrighting, pipefitting, welding and related trades as needed. You will join a cross-trained field crew, perform fabrication and welding tasks, maintain quality and safety standards, and support equipment installation projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years industrial/commercial welding experience.
• Able to pass structural and 6G pipe weld test.

Responsibilities

• Laying out pieces to be welded according to blueprints or work orders.
• Using welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate, and repair metal parts.
• Positioning pieces in jigs using measuring tools.
• Inspecting completed work for conformance to specifications.
• Performing minor maintenance to equipment.
• Maintaining safety practices and records.
• Participating in safety initiatives as required.
• Cross-train in other crafts as needed to meet customer needs.
