Job summary

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Multi-Craft Pipefitter. This role focuses on laying out, assembling, installing and maintaining pipe systems, supports and related equipment for steam, hot water, heating and industrial processing systems.

You will work across trades to meet customer demands and ensure safe, reliable operation. The position requires physical stamina, ability to read blueprints, and cross-training in other trades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications.
• Ability to interpret piping layouts and install systems safely.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread and assemble pipes and fittings according to specifications.
• Attach pipes to structures using brackets and welding equipment.
• Inspect installed systems and test for leaks and proper operation.
• Plan pipe system layout and installation per project requirements.
• Cross-train in additional trades as needed to meet customer needs.
