Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Pipefitter to join our field crews. You will assemble, lay out, install and maintain industrial piping systems for steam, fluid, or gas services across varied sites, including buildings, tanks, boilers, and outdoor structures.

You’ll read blueprints, interpret technical manuals, and work safely at heights up to 300 ft. 3+ years of piping experience, REPCON assessments, TWIC card, and teamwork skills required.

Qualifications

• Pass a REPCON Pipefitter Assessment.
• Pass a REPCON Basic Rigging Assessment, or NCCER certified.
• Current Basic Orientation Plus (Safety Council card) or within 3 months expiration.
• Current TWIC Card.
• 3+ years’ experience in your craft.
• Industrial construction/maintenance work history and experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals and instructions.
• Applied knowledge of pipe fitting for industrial piping and boilers.
• Good problem-solving abilities and reading comprehension.
• Team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, layout, install, and maintain pipe systems on steam, fluid or gas systems.
• Work with pipe, flanges, supports, valves, gauges, hangars and angles at job sites.
• Interpret blueprints and technical manuals; work safely at heights up to 300 ft.
