Job summary
RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a brand-new, highly automated food manufacturing plant in Prattville, AL. This on-site role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills and a proactive approach to maintenance in a 24/7 operation.
You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot root causes, support capital projects, and coach operators. A high school diploma or GED is required; technical certification preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; AAS, apprenticeship, or technical certification preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance.
- Multi-craft skills on both electrical and mechanical sides.
- Able to troubleshoot alone and reach root cause.
- Willing to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 plant, including nights.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment (electrical and mechanical).
- Complete PMs on time and to standard; document work orders in ERP.
- Troubleshoot to root causes using structured problem solving (e.g., 5 Whys).
- Coach operators on equipment care and machine setup; participate in capital projects.
