Job summary

Henderson Group in Prattville, AL is hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a new, highly automated food manufacturing plant. You\'ll perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical production equipment, participate in capital projects, and coach operators on care and setup.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance, multi-craft skills, and a willingness to rotate shifts including nights on a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical cert preferred
• 5+ years hands-on manufacturing maintenance
• Multi-craft skills across electrical & mechanical
• Able to troubleshoot to root cause
• Willing to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 plant (nights)
• Good communicator who can coach others

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Complete PMs on time and to standard
• Find root causes using structured problem solving (5 Whys)
• Coach operators on equipment care and setup
• Assist in installing and testing new equipment on capital projects
• Document work orders in the ERP system
• Participate in shift start meetings and asset care reviews
• Contribute to line improvement projects
• Maintain safety and food safety rules every shift
• Maintain clean, organized work areas (5S)
