Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a new, highly automated food plant in Prattville, AL. This on-site role supports preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.

Rotating shifts in a 24/7 facility require strong troubleshooting, safety discipline, and the ability to coach operators on equipment care and setup. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance.
• Multi-craft skills on electrical and mechanical.
• Willing to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 plant.
• Able to troubleshoot alone and get to root cause.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment (electrical & mechanical).
• Complete PMs on time and to standard.
• Use structured problem solving (5 Whys) to find root causes.
• Coach operators on basic equipment care and machine setup.
• Assist in installing, commissioning, and testing new equipment on capital projects.
• Document work orders and completions in the ERP system.
• Take part in shift start meetings, short interval control, and weekly asset care reviews.
• Contribute to line improvement projects and uphold safety and 5S standards.
