Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians at the Asheboro, NC corrugated facility. The role offers a 2-3-2, 12-hour shift with 5AM-5PM or 5PM-5AM schedules and a hourly wage of $32-$42 depending on experience.

The team supports production of corrugated boxes, performs preventive maintenance, and troubleshoots complex machinery while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience working with electrical motors, PLCs, AC/DC drive controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment including motors, controls, PLCs, drive systems, hydraulic/pneumatic components, and power transmission systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable performance.
• Assist other operators to meet production, waste, and quality goals.
• Use diagrams, schematics, and manuals to fix machinery issues.
• Lubricate equipment and suggest improvements to the lubrication program.
