Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians for our Corrugated Packaging facility in Augusta, GA. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, improving safety and uptime, and supporting plant reliability as part of the Maintenance Reliability Team.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of maintenance experience, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing industrial corrugated box making machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical motors, frequency drives, PLCs, proximity sensors, limit switches and relays.
• Perform routine scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Respond to unscheduled floor calls with urgency.
• Work with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
