Job summary
Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a new, highly automated food-manufacturing plant in Prattville, Alabama. This on-site role pays $41.50 per hour plus bonus and an overnight shift differential, with comprehensive benefits and a 24/7 operation.
You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical production equipment, handle PMs, troubleshoot to root causes, coach operators, and support capital projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
- 5+ years hands-on manufacturing maintenance.
- Multi-craft skills in electrical and mechanical domains.
- Troubleshoot to root cause and work with minimum supervision.
- Willing to rotate shifts in a 24/7 plant, including nights.
- Strong communicator who can coach others and uphold safety.
Responsibilities
- Maintain electrical and mechanical automated production equipment.
- Perform PMs on time and to standard; record in ERP.
- Investigate root causes using structured problem solving.
- Coach operators on basic machine care and setup.
- Assist in installing and testing new equipment on capital projects.
- Support shift start meetings and asset-care reviews.
- Adhere to 5S and safety, environmental, and food safety rules.
