Job summary

Management Performance Associates seeks a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a large, automated food manufacturing plant in Prattville, Alabama. This on-site role emphasizes strong electrical and mechanical skills, with hands-on maintenance experience and the ability to troubleshoot to root cause.

You will operate in a 24/7 rotating shift environment, participate in 5S and safety practices, and support capital projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AAS, apprenticeship or technical cert preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Multi-craft skills on electrical and mechanical.
• Able to troubleshoot independently and identify root causes.
• Willing to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 plant, including nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Complete PMs on time and to standard.
• Troubleshoot to root cause using structured problem solving (5 Whys).
• Coach operators on equipment care and setup.
• Assist with installing, commissioning, and testing new capital equipment.
