Job summary

The Gardens of Trent is seeking an Area Sales Manager to oversee sales and marketing for two senior living communities, The Gardens of Trent and The Gardens of Pamlico, driving occupancy and growth.

You will lead relationship building with residents, families, referral sources, and partners, while collaborating with the marketing team on events and digital campaigns to attract new residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of sales/marketing in senior living or healthcare.
• Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals and driving occupancy.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple communities and projects effectively.
• CRM proficiency; Yardi preferred; MS 365 familiarity.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and marketing strategies for 2+ communities, driving occupancy and growth.
• Build relationships with prospective residents, families, referral sources, and partners.
• Collaborate with marketing to run local events, outreach programs, and digital campaigns.
• Lead pipeline management in CRM and timely follow-ups to convert inquiries.
• Monitor sales performance, set targets, and develop occupancy strategies across communities.
• Provide mentorship and training to the sales teams at each community.
• Track and report sales activities, lead conversion, and occupancy metrics to leadership.
• Stay informed on local market trends and competitor offerings.
• Ensure a high level of customer service throughout the sales process.
