Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring a Medical Assistant to join the Clinical Support Team as a Float. MAs will support multiple primary care and specialty clinics across the Treasure Valley, gaining exposure to various service areas.

The role requires MA certification within 90 days, high school diploma, and BLS. Schedules are full-time, with shifts around 7:00am–5:00pm and occasional weekends, with differential pay as offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• MA certification required within 90 days of hire from approved agencies.
• New Graduates: MA cert or externship/experience may substitute.
• MA experience or schooling required.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to promote a positive patient care experience with compassion.
• Perform duties under the MA scope of practice based on clinics' needs.
• Support and work under the supervision of the Physician/APP; oversight by RN Supervisor.
• Support efficient clinic flow alongside Providers, staff, and front office; communicate clearly.
