Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant (float) for Occupational Medicine across Boise, Nampa and Caldwell clinics. You will cover MA duties between sites and take on front office tasks, checking in patients and verifying insurance.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, MA certificate and BLS, with 1 year MA experience or current MA certification. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. 40 hours weekly, day shift, with potential 4-day weeks after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• MA certificate of completion required from an accredited program or school.
• 1 Year of MA experience OR Current MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire.

Responsibilities

• Float as MA 2–3 days per week across Boise, Nampa and Caldwell clinics.
• Assist front office duties 2 days per week as Patient Services Rep (check-in, verify insurance).
• Support workers' compensation processes and clinical testing (drug screens, breath/alcohol, vaccines, EKGs, audiograms).
• Cross-train in front office duties and pursue certification in testing domains.
