Saint Alphonsus Occupational Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to float among Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell clinics. The role blends MA duties with front desk responsibilities to support workers' compensation processes and patient care.

You will gain experience across multiple sites, work with a compassionate team, and potentially obtain certifications in drug testing and pulmonary function testing. The position requires strong patient service skills and flexibility in scheduling.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• MA certification required within 90 days of hire from CMA or RMA.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Mansioni

• Float MA 2–3 days per week between Boise, Nampa and Caldwell clinics.
• Front office duties 2 days per week, check in patients and verify insurance.
• Back office duties: assist with workers' compensation, drug screen collection, breath/alcohol testing, pulmonary function testing, TB, vaccinations, spirometry, EKGs and audiograms.
• Process workers' compensation paperwork and referrals; communicate with sureties and specialists.
• Cross-train in front office duties with patient services reps.
• Opportunity to certify in drug testing, breath/alcohol and pulmonary function testing.
