Job summary

Benchmark Tax & Accounting, based in Woodland Hills, CA, seeks a Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the full accounting cycle for multiple clients. You will handle day-to-day entries through to financial statements and collaborate with business managers and CPAs to ensure accurate, current books.

The role requires 3+ years in full-charge/bookkeeping, strong QuickBooks skills, GAAP knowledge, and payroll experience with ADP, Gusto, or Paychex.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting experience
• Solid QuickBooks skills (Online or Desktop)
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus but experience matters more
• Payroll experience with ADP, Gusto, or Paychex
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Ability to manage several clients or entities concurrently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly
• Excellent client-facing communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting cycle for a multi-client caseload from day-to-day entries to financial statements
• Switch between industries and account structures across the week
• Collaborate with business managers and CPAs to keep finances clean and current
• Represent the firm well in client interactions
