Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm or public accounting environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books and records for multiple clients.
• Record and classify daily financial transactions, including income and expenses.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
• Post journal entries and make necessary account adjustments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies; prepare financial reports and schedules.
• Assist with sales tax filings and other accounting-related reporting.
• Communicate with clients to obtain financial information and resolve bookkeeping questions.
