Job summary

Spring Independent School District in Houston, TX seeks a Teacher - Multi-Classroom Leader (MCL) to lead a team of teachers, paraprofessionals, and residents, ensuring high growth and exemplary instruction. The MCL will co-plan, co-teach, model, and provide feedback, while facilitating PLCs and data-driven decision making.

The role reports to the Campus Principal and Coordinator of Opportunity Culture, with the MCL stipend program ranging from $15,000 to $20,000 annually, depending on grade

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Teaching Certificate in content and grade level assigned.
• ESL Endorsement for all elementary teachers.
• ESL Endorsement for ELAR secondary teachers.
• Three years of classroom teaching experience.
• Evidence of high-growth student outcomes and growth in content area.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare with high expectations for all students taught by the team.
• Lead team using SpringWay PLC models and backward planning.
• Design enriched and personalized instruction and assessments.
• Monitor student progress and analyze data to inform instruction.
• Facilitate professional learning and collaboration among staff.
• Coordinate with principal and district leaders to support campus goals.
