Job summary

South Louisiana Community College seeks a Facilities Site Supervisor in Lafayette, LA to oversee maintenance, safety, and operational reliability across campuses. Duties include coordinating repairs, monitoring preventive maintenance, supervising staff, and ensuring access control and campus safety.

The role requires strong leadership, detailed records, and the ability to respond to emergencies 24/7, while coordinating with contractors and campus leaders to deliver consistent, high-quality

Qualifications

• Associate degree OR four years of directly related work experience.
• Five years in the building construction trades, building maintenance, or repair of mechanical equipment OR three years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs to the physical plant as required.
• Performs accident and incident reports as required.
• Advise on and respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, inspections, and documentation related to departmental activities.
• Assists with monitoring work order completion, preventative maintenance schedules, and service delivery standards.
• Coordinates with contractors, vendors, and internal departments regarding operational and maintenance activities.
• Responds to operational issues and service interruptions in a timely and professional manner.
• Demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, and adaptability in dynamic operational environments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education
