Job summary

Peak Properties is seeking a Building Facilities Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of three buildings. You will manage preventive maintenance, coordinate vendors, ensure safety compliance, and work closely with Property Managers and regional leaders.

The role requires 3+ years in facilities or related fields, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to travel between properties. A driver’s license is required and after-hours coverage may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in facilities, building maintenance or related field.
• Understanding of building mechanical systems and maintenance.
• Experience working with vendors and contractors.
• Ability to identify maintenance issues and communicate next steps.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular building walks to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Identify, document, and monitor mechanical equipment and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety, elevators, roofing, access control).
• Troubleshoot building issues, coordinate repairs, and ensure completion.
• Coordinate all aspects of vacant unit turns.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and documentation.
• Coordinate with onsite teams and vendors to meet service requirements.
• Oversee vendor and contractor work for assigned properties.
