Job summary

People’s Credit Union seeks a full-time teller float to support retail branches across the East Bay and Aqidneck Island locations. You will perform standard teller transactions, balance daily totals, and assist the team as needed across locations. You will cross-sell products and participate in training to maintain compliance and service quality.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and a customer-first approach in a fast-paced credit-union environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• Good oral communication skills and basic math ability.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment (i.e. calculator).
• Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information logically.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine teller transactions accurately and courteously.
• Balances processed transactions daily.
• Cross-sells Credit Union products and directs members to appropriate departments.
• Attends training sessions as requested by supervisor.
• Adheres to Credit Union policies and state/federal regulations.
• Other duties as requested.
