Job summary

People’s Credit Union is seeking a float Teller to support multiple branches on Rhode Island’s East Bay and Aquidneck Island. You’ll process routine transactions, balance daily totals, and assist members across locations while maintaining exceptional service.

As a trusted member of the team, you will cross-sell products, participate in training, and uphold credit union policies and compliance. Reliable transportation to various branches is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• Satisfactory completion of teller training.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment (i.e. calculator).
• Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence.
• Must be able to use basic math skills and spell accurately up to a high school graduate level.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurately routine teller transactions and balances processed transactions daily.
• Supports the retail team as a float across multiple branch locations.
• Cross-sells Credit Union products and directs members to appropriate departments.
• Attends training sessions and seminars as requested by supervisor.
• Adheres to Credit Union policies and state/federal regulations.
• Other duties as requested by management.
