Job summary

People’s Credit Union is seeking a Float Teller to support the retail team across multiple branches in East Bay and Aquidneck Island, RI. The role involves processing standard teller transactions, balancing daily totals, and providing courteous member service.

As a float position, you will rotate among branches based on staffing needs, cross-sell Credit Union products, and participate in ongoing training to ensure compliance and excellent member experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• Teller training completed or in progress.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurately routine transactions as it relates to Credit Union products and services in a professional and courteous manner.
• Balances processed transactions on a daily basis.
• Cross sells all Credit Union products and services directing members to the appropriate departments.
• Attends training sessions and seminars as requested by supervisor and mandated by the Credit Union.
• Adheres to and demonstrates the behaviors of the Credit Union’s core values; actively works to enhance the member experience throughout the Credit Union.
• Performs all duties in line with all Credit Union policies and all state and federal regulations.
• Other duties as requested.
