Air Methods in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Area Manager I to lead day-to-day operations for multiple bases. This bonus-eligible role focuses on safety, staffing and financial performance across an assigned area, with base salary ranging from $83,000 to $120,000.

The Area Manager partners with Clinical, Aviation, Maintenance, Safety and Sales leadership to maximize base readiness, in-service availability and customer satisfaction.

Qualificações

• 2–5 years of related work experience in clinical, aviation, maintenance with leadership background.
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.
• Strong leadership background and the ability to manage revenue and budgets.
• Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills; detail oriented and able to multi-task.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day base operations for multiple bases, ensuring safety, service and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and develop base staff; set expectations and coach performance; manage hiring decisions.
• Drive KPIs to maximize profit contribution and manage P&L across bases.
• Coordinate with COE and regional leadership to ensure policy compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Lead supply chain and maintenance planning to minimize base downtime and out-of-service events.
• Support Regional Director with scorecards and execution of action plans.
• Ensure licenses, compliance with DOT and other regulations; coordinate base startups, moves and closures.
• Other duties as assigned.
