Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an Area Manager I to lead day-to-day base operations across a defined geographic area in Massachusetts. You will coordinate clinical, aviation, and maintenance activities to optimize safety, quality, and financial performance.

The role requires leading the staff at multiple bases, driving KPIs, and collaborating with COE peers to ensure high customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. A strong leadership background and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of related work experience in clinical, aviation, maintenance with strong leadership background.
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.
• Strong leadership background.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage revenue and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day oversight of Base Operations with 100% base coverage and safe operations.
• Lead and develop area staff and collaborate with COE partners to ensure quality and safety.
• Drive KPIs to maximize profit contribution and improve customer experience.
• Oversee the base P&L, expenses, and payroll with cost controls.
• Coordinate base startups, moves, closures, and lease management.
