Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an Area Manager I to lead day-to-day operations of multiple bases across Southern New Mexico, a bonus-eligible leadership role responsible for operational, safety, staffing and financial performance.

You will partner with Clinical, Aviation, Maintenance, Safety and Sales leadership to maximize base readiness and in-service availability while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of related work experience in clinical, aviation, maintenance with strong leadership background and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day base operations across assigned bases.
• Ensure bases are in service, safe operations, and provide positive customer experience.
• Manage base staff scheduling to ensure coverage and minimize overtime.
• Drive KPIs to maximize profit contribution and manage P&L for bases.
