Job summary

Jerpbak Bayless is seeking a Plant Operations Leader in Solon, OH to oversee daily manufacturing activities, lead CNC machinists and programmers, ensure tight tolerances, and drive continuous improvement across scheduling, quality, and shipping.

You will coach teams, review KPIs, and collaborate with engineering to optimize processes while maintaining safety and profitability for high-mix, low-volume production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of multi-axis CNC machining (mills and lathes).
• Experience with tight tolerances and complex parts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations across production scheduling, machining, quality, and shipping.

Plant Operations Leadership for Precision CNCLocation: Jerpbak Bayless — Solon, OhioJob Type: Full-TimeA Day in the LifeIt’s 7:00 a.m. in Solon and the hum of spindles is already steady. You walk the floor, greet the first shift, and review the day’s plan for multi‑axis mills and lathes. A rush job with extremely tight tolerances is on deck, so you huddle with programming and engineering to fine‑tune cycle times and workholding. A quick stand‑up with machinists resets priorities, then you scan dashboards for KPIs—machine utilization, throughput, scrap, and schedule adherence—shaping decisions for the afternoon run. As parts move to inspection and shipping, you’re coaching leads, approving training, and removing roadblocks.
