Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer for a fast-paced job shop environment in Solon, Ohio. You will lead multi-axis programming on mills and lathes, using Mastercam and SolidWorks from prints and models to prove-out and production release.

You will develop complex toolpaths, select tooling and processes, and mentor machinists while collaborating with engineering, QA, and production teams. A strong background in GD&T and tight tolerances is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years CNC programming experience (job shop experience strongly preferred).
• Expert Mastercam programming ability.
• Strong SolidWorks experience (model navigation, feature recognition, design intent).
• Extensive multi-axis programming experience on mills and lathes.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with tight tolerance machining.
• Experience programming complex thread forms (ACME, buttress, custom threads).
• Macro or parametric programming knowledge.
• Post processor editing experience.
• Experience assisting with quoting or manufacturability reviews.
• Automation or lights-out machining experience.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are a fast-paced precision machining job shop specializing in complex, tight-tolerance components. We are seeking a Senior CNC Programmer with advanced Mastercam and SolidWorks experience and expert knowledge of multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys part variety, solving complex machining challenges, and taking ownership of parts from print review through prove-out and production release.
