Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Mulcher/Equipment Operator in Grand Rapids, MN. This full-time role operates heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines; mulcher experience or Geo Boy, Barko or skidsteer experience is required.

Responsibilities include following safety practices, equipment prep and maintenance, assisting crew, and leading in certain tasks.

Qualifications

• Mulcher experience required.
• CDL/DOT and driver’s license required.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Background check and drug screen will be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment per Foreperson’s instructions.
• Assist in daily prep and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain equipment and tools used in operations.
• Lead crew as needed and assist other crew members.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Travel for storm restoration work when needed.
