Benchmark Companies is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead mulch installation operations in middle Tennessee. The role focuses on scheduling crews, coordinating equipment and materials, and ensuring projects meet quality and budget targets.

Responsibilities include overseeing multiple sites, enforcing safety, tracking progress, and improving processes to achieve organizational goals. Preferred candidates have management experience in green industry or service-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mulch installation operations across multiple sites.
• Plan and coordinate crew schedules, routing, equipment allocation, and material deliveries.
• Ensure mulch installation meets specified depth, coverage, appearance and site standards.
• Verify readiness, access, safety conditions, and job scope during pre-job and on-site inspections.
• Monitor labor hours, equipment utilization, and progress to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain mulch blowing equipment, trucks, hoses and tools; schedule inspections and maintenance.
• Enforce safety procedures related to vehicle movement, hose handling, equipment operation and site hazards.
• Train staff on installation quality, efficiency, equipment care, and customer service standards.
• Track material usage, waste, and inventory to support cost control and profitability.
• Oversee daily operations to maintain efficiency and alignment with business goals.
• Develop and refine operational processes, policies, and standard procedures.
• Partner with department leaders to improve coordination, workflow, and service delivery.
