Job summary

Aqualia - Municipal District Services in Texas seeks a Relationship Manager to oversee client relationships with municipal utility district boards. This role reports to the Vice President of Business Development and serves as the key liaison between boards and MDS operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent.
2 years’ experience in Water District Contract Management.
Ability to communicate with upper management and Board of Directors.
Water industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize; excellent time management and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Communicates with assigned MUD boards and provides monthly performance information to boards and MDS.
Attends all assigned board meetings and serves as liaison between boards and operations staff.
Manages the relationship between the assigned MUD boards and MDS.
Performs long-term planning to ensure cost-effective service delivery within districts.
Monitors financial performance and makes recommendations to management.
Markets MDS services to districts based on district needs; acts as backup contract manager when needed.
