Job summary

Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is hiring for a server/guest-facing role to deliver food from kitchen to tables, ensuring guests have necessary serviceware and accurate orders. You will describe drop-offs clearly and help keep guests safe around hot dishes.

Role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a busy dining room while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry completed plates and dishes from kitchen to guest tables
• Provide guests with proper service ware for their meals
• Describe drop-off clearly and deliver food to the correct guest
• Inform guests of hot plates to ensure safety
• Check orders, replenish missing items, and ensure correct deliveries
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards for health and safety
• Clear and sanitize tables for the next party
• Maintain and restock service areas, restrooms, and expo areas
• Keep dining room and guest areas clean

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry completed plates and dishes from kitchen to appropriate guest table
• Ensure guests have all service ware appropriate for their meal
• Use proper drop off description- responsible for delivering food to the appropriate guest seated at the table
• Make customer aware of any hot plates to ensure the customer's safety
• Ensure table received the correct order and replenishes anything that is missing
• Uphold company safety and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our customers and team
• Clear and sanitize tables for the next party.
• Maintain and restock service areas, restrooms and expo areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and guest areas.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with co-workers and guests
• Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 1 year experience

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.
• Ability to stand/walk for 6 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
