Job summary

Electric Hospitality in Decatur, GA is seeking a Food Runner to support our dining teams and ensure guests have a seamless experience. You will carry plates, deliver meals, keep service ware stocked, and uphold safety and sanitation standards throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Essential physical functions required: ability to stand for 8-10 hours, lift up to 30 lbs, tolerate heat/cold environments, and work in a noisy dining room.

Responsibilities

• Carry completed plates and dishes from the kitchen to the appropriate guest table.
• Ensure guests have all the service ware required for their meal.
• Deliver food to the correct guest seated at the table with accurate drop-off.
• Inform guests of hot plates to ensure safety.
• Replenish items and confirm orders are complete.
• Uphold safety and sanitation requirements for health and safety.
• Clear and sanitize tables for the next party.
• Maintain and restock service areas, restrooms, and expo areas.
• Keep the dining room and guest areas clean and welcoming.

Position Summary:

• Carry completed plates and dishes from the kitchen to appropriate guest table
• Ensure guests have all the service ware appropriate for their meal
• Use proper drop off description- responsible for delivering food to the appropriate guest seated at the table
• Make the guest aware of any hot plates to ensure the customer's safety
• Ensure the table received the correct order and replenishes anything that is missing
• Uphold company safety and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our customers and team
• Clear and sanitize tables for the next party.
• Maintain and restock service areas, restrooms, and expo areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and guest areas.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Will frequently stand, walk, reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate, , and key in data.
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, and soy.
• Report to work in a complete required uniform.
• Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflect the restaurant's image.
• Meet personal schedule requirements punctually.
