Job summary

Electric Hospitality is seeking a Food Runner in Atlanta, GA to support a fast-paced dining room by delivering plates, restocking service areas, and ensuring guests have the properware for their meals. You will work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth service.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old with at least 1 year of experience, able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs, and committed to safety and sanitation standards in a vibrant restaurant

Responsibilities

• Carry plates from kitchen to guest tables.
• Provide guests with appropriate service ware.
• Deliver food to guests seated at the table.
• Alert guests to hot plates for safety.
• Ensure correct orders and replenish missing items.
• Uphold safety and sanitation requirements.
• Clear and sanitize tables for the next party.
• Restock service areas, restrooms, and expo areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and guest areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry completed plates and dishes from kitchen to appropriate guest table
• Ensure guests have all service ware appropriate for their meal
• Use proper drop off description- responsible for delivering food to the appropriate guest seated at the table
• Make customer aware of any hot plates to ensure the customer’s safety
• Ensure table received the correct order and replenishes anything that is missing
• Uphold company safety and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our customers and team
• Clear and sanitize tables for the next party.
• Maintain and restock service areas, restrooms and expo areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and guest areas.

Qualifications/Skills:

Education and/or Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 1 year experience

Essential Physical Functions:

• Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.
• Ability to stand/walk for 6 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
