Job summary

BridgePrep Academy Polk County is seeking an Academic Intervention Specialist (MTSS) for the 2026–2027 school year in Davenport, FL. The role focuses on delivering Tier 2/3 interventions in reading and math, using progress data to guide instructional decisions, and facilitating MTSS problem-solving with staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Florida teaching certificate (K–6 or ESE) with a background in MTSS, ESOL, or reading endorsement preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college.
• Valid or eligible Florida Educator Certificate in Elementary Education (K–6), ESE (K–12), or related field.
• Ability to pass Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening.
• Preferred: Florida Reading Endorsement and/or ESOL Endorsement; MTSS experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions in reading and mathematics.
• Lead MTSS problem-solving meetings with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Monitor progress data and adjust instruction to drive student growth.
• Engage families and communicate intervention plans and outcomes.
