Job summary

The Lake Washington School District in Redmond, WA is seeking an MTSS (TOSA) Instructional Coach to support instructional growth of teachers through coaching, modeling, and collaboration. You will help create inclusive, high-functioning MTSS systems and promote reflective practice, data-informed instruction, and ongoing professional learning.

Qualifications

• Washington State teaching certificate is required.
• Related Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Five or more years of teaching experience.
• Experience providing mentorship, coaching and/or leading professional development for peers.
• Experience partnering with administrators and/or educators to shift instructional practices.

Responsibilities

• Supports instructional growth of teachers through coaching, support and modeling.
• Promotes equitable learning experiences for students through coaching and reflective questioning.
• Co-facilitates MTSS-Intervention team in collaboration with building administrators.
• Supports teachers and PLCs with development of skills and processes for high-quality instruction.
• Provides coaching to new teachers and supports professional learning aligned with district initiatives.
