Job summary

Lake Washington School District in Redmond, WA seeks an MTSS Instructional Coach (TOSA) to support teachers through coaching, modeling and professional learning. The role promotes inclusive, culturally responsive practices and collaboration with administrators to strengthen MTSS implementation.

This full-time position emphasizes data-driven instruction and team-based growth across elementary settings. This role requires a WA State teaching certificate, a related Bachelor’s degree, and five+

Qualifications

Washington State teaching certificate is required.
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
Five or more years of teaching experience.
Experience mentoring, coaching and/or leading professional development.
Experience partnering with administrators to shift instructional practices.

Responsibilities

Supports teachers through coaching, modeling and collaboration to improve instructional practice.
Promotes equitable, culturally responsive learning experiences for students.
Co-facilitates MTSS-Intervention teams with building administrators.
Supports PLCs with high-quality instruction using adopted curricular tools.
Provides data analysis tools and structure for team reflection and improvement.
Offers regular coaching for new teachers and aligns practices to district curricula.
