Job summary

Lake Washington School District seeks an MTSS Instructional Coach (TOSA) to support the instructional growth of teachers at Rosa Parks Elementary School. This 1.0 FTE position focuses on MTSS, coaching, modeling, and job-embedded professional learning to foster inclusive, culturally responsive environments.

The coach collaborates with building and district leaders to provide targeted PD, data-driven coaching, and equity-centered strategies that improve student outcomes across classrooms.

Qualifications

• Must hold a WA teaching certificate and bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading professional development.

Responsibilities

• Coach and model instructional practices to improve teacher effectiveness.
• Promote equitable learning experiences for students.
• Co-facilitate MTSS-Intervention team with administrators.
• Support PLCs with data analysis and evidence-based instruction.
• Provide professional learning aligned with district curriculum and MTSS.
