Job summary

Lake Washington School District in Sammamish, WA seeks an Instructional Coach to support teachers' instructional growth through coaching, modeling, and feedback. The role collaborates with building and district leaders to provide job-embedded professional learning that fosters inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms and MTSS implementation.

Qualifications

• Washington State teaching certificate.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Five or more years of teaching experience.
• Experience mentoring, coaching and/or leading professional development for peers.
• Experience partnering with administrators and/or educators to shift instructional practices.
• Knowledge of MTSS and culturally responsive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Supports instructional growth of teachers through coaching, modeling and feedback.
• Collaborates with building and district leaders on MTSS implementation and professional learning.
• Facilitates professional development and PLCs across schools.
• Plans and provides resources to improve data-driven instruction.
• Co-facilitates MTSS-Intervention teams and supports equitable practices.
