The specialist will collaborate with staff, monitor progress, and mentor colleagues to build instructional capacity district-wide.

Qualifications

• Plan and instruct students across math, reading or SEB.
• Utilize data-driven progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with staff to implement iMTSS.
• Engage in staff development and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Plan and instruct students in math, reading or SEB within classroom, small group, or one-on-one.
• Modify lessons to meet individual needs and progress.
• Foster a safe, positive learning environment.
• Guide intervention plans matched to student needs.
• Use district data systems to track performance and progress.
• Develop assessments and maintain student records.
• Monitor intervention efficacy through data.
• Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and aides.
• Advise staff on reading, math and SEB curriculum practices.
• Coordinate resources for data-based instruction.
• Communicate with parents and students about progress.
• Participate in staff development and school improvement.
• Perform other related duties.
