Job summary

The University of Minnesota, through CAREI, seeks a MTSS Specialist to support state, regional, and local educational agencies in implementing MTSS with fidelity. This role emphasizes literacy, math, SEL and culturally responsive practices while collaborating across CAREI teams to drive data-based decisions.

The position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to develop and deliver targeted professional learning and coaching across multiple education

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Education, Psychology, Leadership, Evaluation, or related field.
• Experience working with state or regional educational agencies on MTSS implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse communities.
• Proven experience providing technical assistance to state or regional educational agencies.
• Commitment to culturally responsive practices and equity across projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to state, regional, and local educational agencies for MTSS implementation.
• Design and deliver professional learning targeted toward key partner needs.
• Lead research and evaluation activities including data collection and analysis.
• Supervise Graduate Research Assistants and coordinate project staff.
